Recently, we've been introduced to two new characters on The Fosters. Drew Turner is the new acting principal of Anchor Beach. He was originally only meant to be covering Lena's job but has quickly moved up the ladder. He's attractive and charming but Lena doesn't trust him at all. Diamond is a teenager who Stef meets when she is arrested for turning tricks. Stef is moved by her tragic situation and tries to help her out in any way she can.
She's only 15, but she works the streets for a pimp named Russell.
Diamond comes across as tough and confident, but she's clearly very vulnerable.
She gets in touch with Stef after being beaten up.
Stef asks Diamond to testify against Russell, and she agrees.
Stef manages to get her a place at a group home called Girls United.
Callie and the GU girls are campaigning for foster care reform.
But Diamond calls Russell and asks him to come and pick her up.
He says he's willing to accept her back, but only if she takes a girl with her.
She manipulates one of the other girls into coming with her.
We really don't like where this is going.
He takes over Lena's job while she's on administrative leave.
At first, he seemed kind and trustworthy.
Drew takes Monte's side in her disagreement with Lena about LGBT sex ed.
This is when we started to turn on him.
And later, he rejects Jesus and Mariana's awesome idea for their senior project.
We really want to see that treehouse get built!
He sticks up for Monte again at the board meeting.
Is there something going on between those two?
But then Lena finds out Drew planned to get Monte fired all along!
He is one sneaky individual.
