S5E2 was full of twists, turns and misunderstandings! Gabi and Josh were both trying their hardest to keep their relationship strictly non-emotional, but they somehow kept ending up in romantic situations. And they weren't the only ones having relationship issues -- Alan and Elliot fell out when one of them didn't get the other a present. Meanwhile, all Yolanda and Sofia wanted on Galentine's Day was to see a stripper!
Gabi, Sofia and Yolanda had their Galentine's Day all planned out.
Chocolate, wine and strippers -- the PERFECT Galentine's Day.
Josh thought Gabi had got him a gift and so he felt he had to do something in return.
Which turned out to be a whole misunderstanding on Elliot's part...oops.
But Gabi wasn't exactly thrilled with Josh's invitation to a fancy restaurant.
Things got even more complicated when Josh accidentally proposed.
We've all been there!
Gabi was totally freaked out by this and ran away.
And then she hid from Josh in her downstairs neighbor's apartment.
Ms. Wilson wasn't entirely happy to see her at first!
Ms. Wilson shared some wisdom about married life.
Betty White was just brilliant in this episode.
And she even let Gabi try on her dress.
Unfortunately, Josh saw her and got the wrong impression.
And he really couldn't keep it together.
So they finally confronted each other and the truth came out.
Neither of them want to get married... yet.
And then they had to return the ring to the couple who actually did want to get engaged.
But it was stuck on Gabi's finger!
Gabi finally got the ring off with a little help from some melted butter.
Gabi's face ❤
And everything worked out in the end.
Plus, Sofia got over her hatred of Valentine's Day...
While Yolanda hooked up with the waiter!
And then the stripper finally showed up!
A happy ending indeed.
