Did you know that today is the one day in the year when you legally have to tell your besties exactly how much you love them? It's true! Ok it's not true, but it's a good reminder to cherish those crazy friends which make life great. And just to celebrate National Friendship Day we've picked out a few of our favorite TV friends.
Linus and Cameron from Stitchers.
They work out together. They confide in each other. They drink wine together. And we're pretty sure that Cameron's daily movie references are the highlight of Linus' day.
Clary and Simon from Shadowhunters.
Ok so they did complicate things a bit (ok, a lot) by briefly dating but when things are good with Clary and Simon we remember exactly why these guys are best friends. They've known each other forever which means they have lots of adorable inside jokes and a shared history we can totally relate to.
Sutton, Jane, and Kat from The Bold Type.
Sutton, Jane, and Kat have passed every test of friendship. They have dropped plans to rush to each other's side. They have supported one another at work functions. They have removed yoni eggs from intimate areas. It's the friendship we all need.
Paige, Jake, and Cassie from Famous In Love.
Anyone else really want a spin-off prequel of Famous In Love where we get to see the Three Amigos before they drifted apart? It would be so cute. They would all make each other breakfast, work through college assignments and get up to crazy apartment-based hijinks.
Yolanda and Elliot from Young & Hungry.
We all need that friend that will be brutally honest. Who will tell you if your outfit looks terrible, tease you for your bad jokes, and never let you forget every embarrassing mistake you have ever made. But they will love you so much that it doesn't matter.
Holden and Luke from Beyond.
Holden and Luke are the most adorable brothers. Yes they are competitive at times, and yes the whole 12-year-coma-thing stunted their relationship a little but they work with it. Luke is there for Holden as he adapts to life, guiding him on how to dress, how to talk to girls and helping him get into trouble in the way only a brother can.
Callie and Mariana from The Fosters.
Callie and Mariana have had such a dramatic road to friendship. Although they initially didn't accept each other, life has brought them together and the hard times have made them even closer. Sisters, roomies, besties, they couldn't be any closer.
Aria, Spencer, Hanna, Emily, and Alison from Pretty Little Liars.
The Liars wrote the book on hard times bring us closer together. Throughout all the crazy twists and turns, they were united 100%. They embraced each other's flaws and managed to always bring out the best in each other. We miss our Liars so much!
