Emily and John's Story:
Hailing from Chicago, Emily and John wanted their wedding to celebrate John's Chinese heritage and their love of ice hockey.
Emily and John first met on the ice rink, while playing a match against each other. John noticed Emily because she was wearing striking pink gloves. Emily also happened to score the winning goal of the match - against goalkeeper John!
John is a massive fan of Disney, and has been to the Disney World Resort 30 times! Emily finds his obsession totally adorable, so John was delighted when she agreed to have their wedding there.
They decided to have their wedding at the stunning China Pavilion at Epcot. Their wedding was in two parts - a traditional Chinese tea ceremony inside the Temple of Heaven, followed by a hockey-themed celebration at the American Adventure Rotunda. And, of course, there were some magical Disney surprises in store for this beautiful couple and their guests ...
First, a traditional Chinese lion dance to bring good luck and fortune to the newlyweds.
Followed by a mesmerizing performance by the Jeweled Dragon Acrobats.
And finally - the biggest surprise of all for this hockey duo - the actual Stanley Cup of the National Hockey League.
Chelsea and Spencer's Story:
Chelsea and Spencer are high school sweethearts who have been together for nine years. They wanted their wedding to be fit for a true prince and princess - and Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings did not disappoint!
This cute couple wrote each other notes throughout their high school days, and Chelsea has kept all of them. It was through one of these handwritten notes that Spencer first asked her out.
Spencer proposed to Chelsea in front of Cinderella's Castle, and so they wanted to have their wedding take place there. Just look at how excited Chelsea was when she found out Disney could make this happen!
The day of the wedding brought some unfortunate weather with it - but the moment Chelsea stepped from her carriage, the skies cleared and the rain stopped. Now that is some true Disney magic!
Reading each other their own vows in front of the castle was such a sweet, romantic moment. And we loved Chelsea's Disney references!
After their vows, they both put handwritten letters to each other inside a locked box, which they will open on their one year anniversary. Isn't that just the sweetest anniversary gift for these two?
After the ceremony, they headed to Tony's Town Square Restaurant to party with their guests and see their special projection wedding cake, featuring Chelsea's beloved Tinker Bell!
According to Spencer, he and Chelsea grew up going to Disney World together. Their favorite memories were the fireworks and light shows, so it was essential that they have the Happily Ever After light show at their wedding. The perfect fairy tale ending to a perfect Fairy Tale wedding!
