Wren has always been a top A.D. suspect. He's intelligent, he has a connection to Charlotte, and he always seemed like he was hiding something. But we've been even more suspicious of him since his brief return in Pretty Little Liars season 7 episode 15. Let's take another look at that scene to see if we can spot any clues that he might be A.D. Then, if you think he is guilty, vote for him using the PLL Suspect Tracker, brought to you by SIMPLE Mobile.
There were no London flights listed on the boards at the airport.
So why was he there? Perhaps he has actually been around the whole time? Was he the person in the front of the limo with Sydney?
He was definitely arguing with Spencer.
We've never seen him argue with Spencer before. Was it because she was asking him about Charlotte? He was almost suspended for sneaking her into Radley while he was working there, so it's probably a touchy subject for him. Or was it because Spencer was starting to realize that he is A.D.?
He seemed really uncomfortable about meeting Ezra.
This may have simply been because he was still flustered after his argument with Spencer. However, a popular theory is that Ezra and Wren are working together as A.D., so perhaps he was worried about giving something away to Spencer that could lead to her working out their connection.
And it also seemed like he was lying about why he was there.
It was too convenient for Wren to have a long layover when Spencer needed to talk to him about Charlotte, so they must have arranged to meet. Therefore, Wren must have been in the States for a while already, but for how long exactly? Could he have been around since Charlotte's death? He was connected to her but we never knew how. Perhaps it was a deep enough connection for him to want to get revenge for her death.
He didn't appear to like the idea of Ezra having a drink with them.
If he is A.D. and working with Ezra, maybe he was worried that they might give away some clue to Spencer that they already knew each other.
He looked pretty concerned when Ezra left.
Was he trying to work out if Spencer had picked up any weirdness between them?
And he was obviously trying to listen in to Spencer's conversation with Ezra.
Could he have been trying to hear if Ezra was saying something that might compromise him?
