Season 7 episode 19 of Pretty Little Liars gave us one of the biggest reveals yet.
We finally know who killed Charlotte! Watch the latest episode and read our recap below to see if it gave us any more clues about A.D.'s identity. Then vote for who you think is A.D. with the PLL Suspect Tracker, brought to you by SIMPLE Mobile -- don't worry if you've voted before, you can change your vote at any time.
Aria had a seriously close encounter with a cop.
He was determined to help Aria get her keys out of the trunk – where Dunhill's body was buried. Luckily, Aria was able to grab the keys when his back was turned.
Meanwhile, Ezra confronted the rest of the Liars about how they treated Aria.
He gave them some home truths that they really needed to hear. His reaction make us think Ezra can't be A.D. He was angry that the other Liars had fallen out with Aria over her actions, but A.D. wants to split them up. What do you think? He's currently at 3% on the PLL Suspect Tracker.
Aria realized how she could make things up to her friends.
She made the brave decision to go to the police and take the blame for Dunhill's murder. She might have made some mistakes, but this proves Aria's not a bad person.
Mona came home to discover the game had been taken.
The Liars may have thought Mona was A.D, but this gave us serious doubts. If she were A.D., there is no way the game could have been stolen from her. She's at 3% on the PLL Suspect Tracker, so maybe a few of you are still suspicious of her.
Mary gave Spencer the Lost Woods Resort as a going away gift.
She knew what was going on with the police so she put the deed in Spencer and Ali's names. This meant they could sell it to pay for their lawyers. Surely Mary Drake can't be A.D.? If she were A.D., why would she do something so generous? She's only at 1% on the PLL Suspect Tracker, so it looks like most of you agree.
This was such a beautiful Emison moment ❤️. We're so glad they have each other through all of this.
Ezra arrived just in time to stop Aria from going to the police.
He tried to convince her that they could leave town because there was nothing linking her to Dunhill's murder. But then she dropped the bombshell that his body was in her trunk.
When Caleb went in to confront her, it was clear Mona wasn't okay. She seemed scared, really scared. Even Caleb began to suspect that Mona wasn't A.D.!
But she escaped from them out of a secret tunnel in the ladies bathroom.
Spencer suspected that this was how Mona got out on the night she was meant to meet Charlotte, so she and Caleb decided to investigate.
Aria convinced Ezra that she couldn't leave her friends, so they decided to deal with Dunhill's body, but...
It was gone! This was obviously going to lead to terrible consequences.
Caleb plucked up the courage to tell Spencer that he and Hanna were married. And she had the best response:
She was genuinely happy for them both. It's great that Caleb and Spencer can be friends again, they make such a good team.
Ali and Emily apologized to Aria for how they treated her.
They admitted they were wrong and, of course, Aria forgave them. This is just another reason why these girls are #friendshipgoals.
Hanna spotted petals falling from the bell tower and when she went to investigate, she made a terrible discovery.
Poor Mona, she was definitely not okay.
She then learned exactly what happened on the night Charlotte was killed.
Mona went to meet Charlotte because she worked out that she faked her recovery and was planning to start the game again. Mona wasn't about to let that happen so she threatened to push Charlotte off the bell tower.
After Hanna worked out Mona was Charlotte's killer, they received the final two puzzle pieces.
We had a feeling that wouldn't mean "game over" though...
Once the pieces were connected, the game led them to the location of their "grand prize."
It was Archer's body, which was now buried in the grave at the back of Aunt Carol's house. A.D. really does give the worst prizes.
Just before they were about to dig up their "prize," Aria stopped them.
She pointed out that doing so would probably lead to more trouble, and A.D.'s game would never end. We're so glad that one of the Liars has finally worked this out.
But the police arrived before they could leave.
Tanner had finally caught them at the scene of the crime. It was looking pretty bleak for the Liars at this point.
However, Mary Drake unexpectedly came to their rescue.
Now we definitely don't think she is A.D.
Later at the Lost Woods, Mona revealed more about the night Charlotte died.
It was an accident. Mona wasn't really going to push Charlotte off the bell tower, she just wanted to teach her a lesson. But they got into a fight and when Mona pushed Charlotte against the wall, her neck was punctured by an exposed pipe.
By telling her story, Mona ended the game.
But none of the Liars were sure that it was really over -- and neither are we.
At the end of the episode, A.D. drove off into the sunset -- leaving us with one huge question still unanswered...
Who is A.D.? It seems like it can't be most of the characters we know, so maybe it's someone we haven't met yet? The Mystery Suspect has the highest number of votes in the PLL Suspect Tracker with 47%, so do you agree with the majority of the fandom?
