In Season 7 Episode 16 of Pretty Little Liars, Lucas was starting to look pretty suspicious. Sure, he came up with a few explanations for his behavior at the end of the episode, but how do we know we can believe him? Relive one of his guilty moments by watching the video below, brought to you by SIMPLE Mobile, and then tell us what you think by voting with the PLL Suspect Tracker. And in case you were wondering, 17% of the fandom currently think he's A.D...
Man, Lucas can be creepy when he wants to be, although he seemed to convince the Liars of his innocence by the end of S7E16. Did you believe his explanation? Check out the reasons below why we think Lucas might still be A.D. despite what he said:
1. The hard drive that A.D. got Hanna to pick up contained a Patsy Cline song.
Since Charlotte used to play Patsy Cline in The Dollhouse, this further proves that A.D. is someone who had a strong connection to her. Lucas was her childhood friend. Yes, he says he didn't know Charles and Charlotte were the same person, but can we believe him? A.D. is a master manipulator after all...
2. He didn't actually provide an alibi for the Liars the night Charlotte was killed.
But he wanted them to believe he did. Was this just a cover up?
3. Hanna spotted him in The Radley.
He said that he was sent a note that told him to go there, but again, how can we know for sure that he's telling the truth?
4. He also helped write a second graphic novel.
Isn't it a bit suspicious how Lucas wrote a book that practically outlines what is currently happening to the Liars?
5. We were reminded of how badly Alison treated Lucas in high school and how the Liars just stood by and let her.
Who wouldn't want revenge?
6. And finally, he has always had a thing for Hanna.
Is it possible that he has never gotten over her and wants to punish her for not loving him back? But then, why would he invest all of his money in her fashion business? Another cover up, perhaps?
