We first met Hodge back in Season 1 when he was living in the Institute.
And sometimes he would take his shirt off while he was working out... *sigh*
He helped to train the younger Shadowhunters and organized their missions.
And he was a BADASS!
In the Alternate Universe he was a martial arts professional.
Living the dream.
Then we found out he had been secretly working with Valentine the whole time!
Talk about a plot twist! We were heartbroken.
Jace wanted revenge so he followed Hodge and they had a big fight.
He cut off Hodge's hand and handed him over to the Clave. Ouch!
And now he's back! And he seems to have gotten over the whole "hand" thing...
He was in the City of Bones prison with Jace.
Well, we thought he was back...
Until he tried to help save Jace and got stabbed in the face by Valentine! At least he kind of redeemed himself. RIP.
Another person we got to see again in this episode was Camille!
She kidnapped Simon back in Season 1.
She used Simon as bait to get the Mortal Cup from Clary.
But it didn't work. The Shadowhunters do not negotiate with crazy Vampires.
But Simon ingested some of Camille's blood and thought he was turning into a Vampire.
It turns out he wasn't. But Camille killed him anyway!
Clary had to decide between letting Simon die or having Raphael turn him into a Vampire.
And she was FURIOUS with Camille for ruining her best friend's life.
Luckily, Raphael helped Simon settle into his new life.
And Camille was locked away as a punishment for her actions.
But when the Shadowhunters needed Camille's help to find an ancient book of spells...
They came up with a plan to bust Camille out of the Hotel DuMort.
Without Raphael's permission. Bad Climon.
We found out that Camille and Magnus had a romantic history together.
She almost screwed things up for Malec, but after she led them to the Book of the White she ran away.
We didn't see her again... until now!
Simon found her grave dirt and Magnus used it to summon her.
Although he cared about her, Magnus felt an obligation to protect Raphael and Simon.
So he handed his old flame over to the Clave. Poor baby, he must feel so guilty!
