Actor Biography

Sibongile Mlambo is a Zimbabwean–South African actress based in Los Angeles. Her name means "we are thankful" in Zulu. Growing up in Zimbabwe, she was inspired to pursue the arts after playing a lead role in the Jury Prize-winning international feature, "Kini & Adams," igniting her passion for the arts.

In 2015, Sibongile relocated to Los Angeles, California, and continued passionately pursuing her craft. She starred alongside Chadwick Boseman in "Message from the King," showed off her dance moves in "Honey 3," played Tamora Monroe on the MTV series "Teen Wolf," and will appear in the Netflix series "Lost in Space" and indie neo-noir crime thriller, "Under the Silver Lake." Her credits include the Starz primetime Emmy award-winning drama "Black Sails"; Palme d'Or-nominated "The Last Face"; and French-South African collaboration, "Ladygrey," where she was described as "an ensemble standout" by Variety's Guy Lodge.
