Wow. Just wow. In the mesmerizing season 1 finale of Siren , we finally got a taste of what the siren song is capable of and it's not good - not good at all. We've recapped Ben's relationship with Ryn's haunting melody below, so read along and then tell us: Do you think you could resist the call of the siren song?
From the first time Ryn sang to Ben we knew that it was special.
Ben seemed instantly fascinated, but we thought that was because he'd just met a real-life mermaid.
But then we saw how Donna's song was making Decker react and we started to worry.
But we hoped that maybe Ryn's song was different.
Suddenly, Ben’s interest in Ryn and her song didn’t seem so harmless.
Everything started to revolve around Ryn.
And so, when Ben asked Ryn to sing to him again after Sean’s funeral, we heard alarm bells.
Was his fascination turning into an addiction?
She was all he could think about - while he was with her, while she was away and even while he was asleep.
He started to have twisted dreams.
We knew Ben was really in trouble when he jumped into the ocean because he thought he heard Ryn's song.
We had just learned that Decker had drowned himself after Donna's passing, so we were pretty scared for Ben. Luckily, Ryn was there to save him.
And after Maddie broke up with him, even Ryn decided her song was too dangerous for Ben to be around.
This must have been so hard for Ryn.
