Maggie Baptiste was under intense pressure in Season 2, starting with Kirsten mistakenly accusing her of murder. After that, she had to cooperate with a downright suspicious new boss, lead several high profile murder investigations, and try and keep her patience with a troublemaking team. Before he was murdered, Turner told Maggie the true purpose of the Stitchers program.
Turner thought it was possible to accelerate the evolution of the human brain.
At first, Maggie was accused of killing her boss.
Turner had it coming, but Maggie would never kill in cold blood.
Turner's replacement seemed shady, and Maggie immediately distrusted him.
Maggie was never going to get along with someone who dressed so shabby.
Blair refused to authorize the hunt for Daniel Stinger.
He claimed the investigation was an unnecessary distraction.
But Maggie secretly gave Camille an assignment to get close to Liam.
She suspected Liam was somehow involved with Stinger, and she was proven right.
Just as Liam was about to reveal everything, he was murdered.
It was hard to have any sympathy for him.
And later, Blair tried to shut down the Stinger investigation by force.
While Kirsten was in the middle of a stitch.
But the team fought back and regained control of the lab.
No one messes with Maggie and the gang.
Maggie gave the order to imprison Blair's men and continue the stitch.
We knew she was tough, but this moment took our respect for her to another level.
While Kirsten was stuck in her own memory, Maggie received worrying news about her son.
We don't know what happened, but it must have been serious.
So where does all this leave Maggie?
Her son's health will be her main priority, but there is so much else at stake. Is her career in jeopardy? Could the whole Stitchers program be terminated? We need answers -- thank goodness Season 3 is starting soon!
