1. Cameron is struggling with the whole "no oxytocin" thing.
His current solution to the problem: upping his working out routine until Linus finishes the oxytocin filter. Along with pressuring Linus to hurry up, Cameron also talks to him about his "yips." They both agree that Camille should probably pilot the stitch for the time being.
2. Kirsten convinces Camille to do some secret mind mapping research.
In order to perfect the stitch and save Kirsten's mother, the team need to fully map the human brain. This means that Kirsten will need to spend more time in previously unmapped areas. Cameron is a little nervous about this kind of thing due to his over-protective-boyfriend-mode, but Kirsten manages to convince Camille to go behind his back and help her scope out the new territory.
3. The team have a new case -- a John Doe who was discovered after being shot in the chest and pushed off a roof.
Not only does he have a British Royal Marines' tattoo, but further inspection of his memories shows that he has encrypted them by creating a memory palace -- a place to house visual representations of his deepest secrets so no one can access them. In the stitch, Kirsten sees some very strange imagery -- an apple tree, four toy soldiers, and a cow with a golden snake wrapped around it.
4. Cameron and Kirsten negotiate with MI6.
Assuming that Mr. Doe was a British spy, Cameron and Kirsten go to visit Dexter Abbott at MI6. Abbott agrees to help on the condition that the NSA pull some strings and help get one of MI6's agents, Chloe Marks, out of jail. After realizing she has nowhere to stay, Cameron offers his apartment to Chloe so she can freshen up. Kirsten is not happy with the arrangement.
5. Linus and Camille investigate the crime scene.
While trying to work out what the symbols mean, Linus suggests they ask Ivy for help. Camille is getting tired of Linus talking about Ivy all of the time, but Linus says that Ivy means a lot to him and that Camille needs to accept her being around.
6. Camille tells Linus about Amanda.
And so everyone can get to know each other, Camille invites Linus and Ivy to her house for a dinner party that evening with Amanda.
7. Chloe reveals all...including her naked self.
After an awkward moment where Chloe asks to borrow some much needed clothes, Cameron and Kirsten find out that their John Doe is Agent Harrington. His wife, Belinda, mysteriously went missing and her body has never been found. Chloe was brought in to find Harrington after he went missing but then he mysteriously turned up dead. Interestingly, Chloe also reveals that Harrington was Abbott's partner.
8. Cameron and Kirsten come home to find Chloe.
That evening, Chloe lets herself into Cameron's apartment and they see that she has a black eye. Apparently, Abbott was so furious that she had managed to lose Harrington that he attacked her. She quit MI6 and vowed to travel back to London the next day. Cameron tells her that she is welcome to stay the night.
9. A dinner party that's not such a fun party.
Camille and Amanda welcome Linus and Ivy to dinner -- except that it's not that welcoming. Linus confronts Amanda in the kitchen and warns her not to hurt Camille. Camille also confronts Ivy and accuses her of using Linus to gain insider information about the Stitchers program.
10. Kirsten works out that the cow represents Abbott.
Worrying that Chloe might be in danger, they move her to Kirsten's house where Amanda offers to keep her company while the team go to the lab for a briefing. The cow in the mind palace is a Dexter cow, which represents Abbott Dexter. Once Fisher confirms that the ballistics of the bullet found in Harrington's chest match Abbott's gun, the team are convinced Abbott killed Harrington.
11. Camsten go to Abbott's office to confront him.
They find Abbott laying on the floor. He has been shot, but still alive. He goes to shoot Kirsten but luckily Cameron is there to pull her out of the way.
12. Using the images they understand, Linus is able to build a codex and access Harrington's other memories.
Kirsten stitches into a memory of Harrington's wedding. There are apple trees all around. The date is March 4 which Camille correctly connects to the four marching toy soldiers. The bride is revealed to be Chloe Marks and the team realize that she is the golden snake. The snake wrapped around the cow tells them that Chloe and Abbott were having an affair and, as the death memory is of the golden snake lurching to bite Harrington, the team realize that Chloe is his killer.
13. Camille tries to warn Amanda that Chloe is the killer.
When Camille realizes she has left Chloe alone with Amanda, she sends her a very blunt text and rushes to the house.
14. Chloe sees the text and threatens Amanda with a knife just as Camille runs in.
Camille manages to pin Chloe to the ground and has the situation under control as Fisher arrives to help out.
15. Amanda thanks Camille for saving her life.
And then Camille opens up. She says that she has a hard time letting people into her life but when she saw Amanda threatened she was really afraid of losing her. Camille says she's scared but also excited, and they kiss.
16. Cameron reveals that they are one step closer to helping Kirsten's mom.
He says that before he got a stitch alert, he heard a buzzing from inside one of Maggie's cabinets and so he had Linus break into it. They found a machine inside which is somehow related to how the team's stitches get picked. Cameron says that if they can control which cases they have, then they can pick the ones that will help them save Kirsten's mom.
