With the new season of The Fosters just hours away, here's a quick refresher of where we left everyone at the end of season 4. Callie and Jesus were each on their own and in danger, while Stef and Brandon tried to find them. Meanwhile, Jude, Mariana and Lena were all at the school, desperately trying to block a motion to privatize Anchor Beach.
At first, Callie was considering taking a plea deal and serving three years in prison.
After Doug Harvey provided a video showing her breaking into his house, Callie had few options.
But Mike managed to get a confession out of Troy Johnson, so Callie should be in the clear.
Mike said that he was expecting Callie's case to be dismissed.
Meanwhile, Jesus called Sharon and she finally told him about Emma's abortion.
Jesus suspected that Sharon hadn't read everything Emma had written in her note to him, and he was right. Later when he asked Mariana if she had known, she told him to talk to Brandon.
Jesus confronted Emma and Brandon about not telling him about the abortion, and in the heat of the moment ran off.
Brandon tried to explain that he had merely supported Emma by taking her to the clinic, but it was all too much for Jesus to handle.
Despite Lena's passionate speech, the motion to make Anchor Beach a private school passed.
We have a feeling that this fight isn't over just yet.
The ABCC students, led by Mariana, protested the decision not to give them a say.
After the meeting, the protesters blocked the board members from leaving.
Meanwhile, Callie and Diamond were trapped in a sleazy motel with Russell.
Not knowing that Troy had confessed and thinking she was going to prison anyway, Callie agreed to go with Diamond as a new girl for Russell. She told Diamond Stef would be able to track her cell phone and find them.
And while Stef was tracking Callie's phone, it was in a bag that Russell gave to someone else.
Stef's car drove right past the motel Callie was in...and we've been holding our breath ever since.
