Aaron didn't like the idea of physically blocking the speaker, and he emphasized that free speech was important to him.
Jude, Noah and Taylor watched a video game tutorial together.
Noah was shocked by the offensive and derogatory language that the host used. Later, they decided to make their own videos that fought back at the offensive host, but they got targeted by trolls.
Callie visited Kyle, and found out that he was thinking about leaving the state.
He didn't trust the police or the legal system anymore. He just wanted to be free.
Mike asked Brandon to be his best man.
Mike was a little disappointed that Brandon already knew about the engagement through AJ.
Brandon, Grace and Cortney went to an open mic night together.
Grace wanted to meet Cortney as she was living in the Adams Foster garage. After Grace and Brandon's performance, Cortney also performed with Brandon. Uncomfortable, Grace drank a little too much wine.
Stef convinced Kyle to help her obtain evidence against Detective Gray.
Kyle was nervous about wearing a wire, but Stef assured him that he would be safe.
Jesus told Ana that Gabe still had feelings for her, just as she was about to tell him and Mariana about her engagement.
Jesus also told Mariana that he would like Gabe and Ana to get back together. Later, Brandon saw them hugging in the garden.
Callie and Aaron had an argument about her decision to attend the civil disobedience class.
The moms thought it was too dangerous. They didn't want Mariana to get hurt like Jesus.
Kyle tried to make Patrick Malloy admit he had been offered a deal by Detective Gray.
But Malloy claimed he didn't know what Kyle was talking about. He even threatened to call the cops if Kyle spoke to him again.
Jesus proposed to Emma.
Emma avoided answering yes or no, but told Jesus she couldn't imagine herself with someone who didn't value education.
Ximena persuaded the moms to change their mind and allow Mariana to join the team.
While Callie did tell Ximena that Mariana had forged her permission slip, Callie knew how important roller derby was to Mariana and had asked Ximena to come over and talk to the moms. Ximena told Mariana she would sit out a few games as punishment for forging the slip.
Jude and Taylor set up their own gaming live stream.
Noah had put up their first tutorial on his channel, but had taken it down after they were attacked by trolls. So instead, Jude and Taylor created their own live stream. The positive environment was a huge success.
Jesus surprised Lena by announcing that he wouldn't be dropping out after all...because Emma wouldn't marry him if he did.
Before she could ask for more details, Jesus walked off, leaving Lena stunned and unsure of whether Jesus was engaged.
Callie found out that there was a strong chance she would be arrested at the college protest.
With her record, it would be dangerous for Callie to get in trouble again.
Brandon saw Gabe and Cortney kissing.
At first, he thought Gabe was kissing Ana and so he confronted the couple. He was then shocked to discover that it was actually his ex-girlfriend who was kissing Gabe.
